I'm tempted to believe Cheever was a Libra moon simply because it seems fitting these two had the same Sun, but opposite Moons. They're both some of the best short story writers that ever lived. They had an incisive eye for social intricacies that seem to mean nothing and everything -- a particularly Gemini style of observation. For Carver, his Aries makes for a more gruff tone while Cheever's Libra is more lyrical. Olivia Laing wrote about their booze-soaked friendship in part of her book, The Trip to Echo Spring: On writers and drinking - which I LOVED.
